Today is a new day in a new year and a new life. We have been given a 2nd chance by the grace of God and want to be good stewards of the health and days we are given. We have had such a big response to the changes in both of us and people want to know what we have done. I have someone asking every week for resources so they can begin learning about this Proper Human Diet. It is definitely a journey and so we have collected so many resources along the way and learned so much! I am not giving medical advice on any of this blog. Just sharing our experience along the way and what we have learned. And by the way we are still learning and hope to never stop. I thought since I'm no longer teaching, I'd repurpose my classroom blog to share research, links, doctors, recipes, sources for things we love, and just a lot of prayer and encouragement. I wish someone had shared all this with me many years ago. I've lost so many days to pain and inflammation. It has taken us about 10 years at least to get to this point. I hope this will help you on your journey to better.
As I used to tell my students, "repeat after me, "we CAN do hard things." New habits are hard, but they are possible and then they are easy.
